We received some requests last week off people wanting us to cover more Alty FC news and lucky for us Altrincham FC provided us with an amazing score this weekend to shout about.

Great Result for Altrincham FC

This Saturday, September 1st 2012, Altrincham FC played against Histon at their home ground of Moss lane.
Altrincham celebrated their first home win of the season with a very good result of 5-0 showing the boys worked hard and displaying what the lads are capable of.

Histon started well with the first goal and Carl Rogers excelled throughout the game, stopping a lot of passes and goals from Histon and finished with a goal. Altrincham FC have showed they have a lot more consistency and showing what you are capable of. Duncan Watmore had a fantastic match setting up the fist goal and scored the last showing he is a very rare talent and has been compared to Ryan Giggs as a versatile player with ability and a big future, a player difficult to defend against.

Damian Reeves scored an amazing 2 goals in 3 minutes! An impressive resume of 5 goals in 5 games he is still working on his fitness but he is working hard and getting better each game hoping for more goals from him throughout the season. James Laurie played upfont and did well could be a good position for him and the rest of the team. Histon had a few shots putting the pressure on Alty FC but at the end of the match Altrincham came home with the clean sheet.

The squad is young and at this stage of their career they are gaining experience and confidence, after recent losses away such a good result meant that they now have a boost and have proven to fans and themselves what they can do.

Altrincham now have 6 points on the board but they have a big climb to come and matches, the support from Altrincham FC fans has been immense,

Altrincham FC are away at Gainsborough Trinity on Tuesday so hoping the confidence boost and experience from Saturday will bode well for 7.45 kick off against Trinity.
