Altrincham Festival

Altrincham Festival is back this year on Saturday the 7th July, the festival is an annual event that started in 1977 and runs on the first weekend of July.

The festival has a great turnout every year and includes a grand parade, attractions, shows, stalls a fun fair and a huge show ground.

The parade is the most exciting part of the festival starting at 11 am on the Saturday morning from Altrincham Town Centre then travelling a 4 mile route to the show grounds in Beech Fields, Timperley.

Business, groups and individuals all take part in the festival with stalls, set up, organising, publicising and keeping people safe and the festival attracts thousands of people to the area all wanting to celebrate, watch and have fun.

There are a number of events happening around the festival from dance performances, dance groups, quizzes, music and even a ‘Elvis Night’.
