Altrincham Grammar School debate Current Issues in Liverpool

altrincham grammar school for boysAltrincham Grammar School for Boys (AGSB) have selected students to debate the current Eurozone and the Olympic legacy today as part of the Youth Parliament United Kingdom (EYPUK) in Liverpool.

There are many issues facing the UK and the EU at the moment and enthusiasts in current affairs and debating from Altrincham Grammar School for Boys (AGSB) are taking part in the Youth Parliament UK at Liverpool Hope University today.

Altrincham Grammar School for Boys is one of 14 selected schools who will take part in this event and the topics for discussion include the current Eurozone crisis  as well as how London 2012 Olympics will affect the conomy and how the EU will support it during and after the event.

The 14 schools participated in the discussions will have to prepare speeches and arguments as well as be put to the test with thought provoking questions and objection handling. At the end of the 2 day event 1 of the schools will go on to represent the UK in the European Youth Parliament (EYP). The EYP is held in November and this year will be the 71st International session.
