French Market in Altrincham

Le Marche de France had stalls up at Altrincham Market this weekend and provided Altrincham shoppers with a taste of the continental choosing from a variety of appetisers such as olives and cheese as well as street food and gifts. Le Marche de France has been to Altrincham Market before and is welcomed by s

hoppers who even braved the wind and rain to sample the delicacies.

Altrincham town ideas

Altrincham Market is one of the towns favourite regular events, its main days are Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and as well as regular stalls they welcome new markets to the event.

Altrincham Civic Day

As well as the Market, Saturday was National Civic Day, and true to form Altrincham and Bowdon Civic Society were down to meet and greet people and let people know about the good work they have been doing.

Altrincham Hospital imagesThe marquee was set up opposite the market and had papers to write your ideas down on how you think you can improve the town, and we were very impressed by some of the ideas people had written down.

If you went down to the Civic Day Marquee you will have seen the old plans of the town that have been re printed and restored. It was very interesting to see how the town has changed. They also had Computer images of the new hospital and how it should look on Railway road.
