Myerson Charity Marathon Run

March 24, 2014 1:40 pm

On Sunday 6 April 2014, a team of 24 Myerson staff and their friends are taking part in the Greater Manchester Marathon to raise money for Meningitis Now.
22 of them will be taking part in the marathon relay challenge (running around 6 miles each) with the remaining 2 aiming to run the full 26.2 miles.
Myerson formed a running club to prepare for the marathon. Members of the Myerson team can be seen hitting the pavements in and around Altrincham each Wednesday evening – come rain, shine…or even fallen trees!
The reason Myerson has chosen to raise money for Meningitis Now is because a few staff members of the Myerson team have had friends and family who have contracted meningitis.
Meningitis Now exist solely to save lives and rebuild futures by funding research, raising awareness and providing support to those affected by this terrible disease. They do this all without any government funding and therefore rely solely on donations. This is our way of saying THANK YOU!
Every £1 donated by the friends and family of Myerson staff, will be matched £1 for £1 by the Partners of Myerson.
