February 20, 2013 12:09 pm

Neil Myerson LLP in Altrincham is very pleased to announce the appointments of Jonathan Hassall and Catherine Simons.
Jonathan was most recently a Partner at Linder Myers LLP and has joined the Commercial Litigation department as a senior solicitor. Jonathan specialises in intellectual property disputes and high value commercial litigation matters. He has represented large clothing brands, mail order companies and a premier league football club in connection with intellectual property matters.
Following Andrew Brown’s appointment in 2012, Jonathan Hassall is the second ex-Partner from Linder Myers to join Neil Myerson LLP in the last 12 months.
The firm also welcomes the arrival of Catherine Simons, who joins the Corporate Commercial department from the Manchester office of Pinsent Masons. Catherine specialises in corporate and commercial work, and has acted for local authorities, public bodies and private limited companies on large scale joint ventures.
Carl Newton, Managing Partner at Neil Myerson LLP, said:
“The appointments of Jonathan and Catherine are in-keeping with our policy of recruiting fee earners who have trained and worked at large city centre or national firms. To keep pace with the expansion of our commercial client base these appointments further increase the Firm’s strength in depth. More and more mid-sized and large businesses and in-house counsel who traditionally use more expensive City Centre lawyers are now instructing us as a credible out-of-town alternative.”
