Barb Jungr Dinner Jazz

Friday 14th September

Barb Jungr will be performing songs from her latest CD accompanied by Jenny Carr on the piano at the Cinnamon Club on Friday 14th September. Her ‘Stockport to Memphis’ Dinner Jazz cabaret will entertain you as you tuck into a delicious 3 course meal.

The New York Times described her as;

“A fearless iconoclast who dives into the deepest Waters of popular song to wrest exotic trasure from the ocean floor.”

And Barb Jungr has been acclaimed by the BBC Jazz review as;

“Jungr needs no added ingredients to improve her communication of these great songs”.

This evening of entertainment and food kicks off at 7.30 pm at the Cinnamon Club on the 14th Septemberand all for only £35.00.


Gabriel Minnikin Cinnamon Club AltrinchamGabriel Minnikin

Thursday 20th September

Multi talented Canadian singer, performer, producer and songwriter Garbriel Minniken will be stopping by at Altrincham’s Cinnamon Club on Thursday 20th September. If you have never been to one of Gabriel Minnikin’s performances, you are in for a treat. Gabriel Minnikin has been described as having an unbelievable voice with range from a deep gravely bass to a timbre baritone.

As a solo artist Gabriel Minnikin has toured extensively but in 2004 settled in the musical city of Manchester, the same year he released his critically acclaimed debut record ‘Hard Feelings’.  Gabriel has released a number of records and been involved in collaborations and producing other albums and records, but he is now working on a rock and roll album ‘Remember, Remember’ which should be released this year.

To see the very talented Gabriel Minnikin perform Lounge music then come to the Cinnamon Club in Altrincham on the 20th September, tickets are only £10.00.


Burden of Paradise Cinnamon Club AltrinchamBurden of Paradise

Friday 21st September

The Cinnamon Lounge is proud to host Burden of Paradise on Friday 21st September, the unique music of Snake Davis, Helen Watson, Dave Bowie and Mark Creswell. If you are a regular to the Lounge then you may have seen Burden of Paradise perform their before as this will be their 3rd time.

Without drums the band use voice, saxophone, guitar and double bass to perform their unique interpretations of songs from Dylan to Dowland. You will not be disaapointed as you listen to Helen Watson’s mesmeric voice.

Burden of Paradise will be playing fom 7.30pm on the 21st September (Friday) so hurry and get your ticket at only £12.00.


Paul Farr Cinnamon Club AltrinchamThe Paul Farr Band

Thursday 27th September

Another favourite of the Cinnamon Club is the Paul Farr Band, since they last performed in the Cinnamon club lounge in Altrincham they have been busy promoting their album ‘Thinking Big’.

Paul will be playing original material, supported by drummer Luke Flowers and Bassist Neil Fairclough, they will be entertaining the lounge with their usual mix of jazz, blues and funk.
